Water is leaking from the water filter back,how do I remove the filter holder unit
What is the complete model number of your unit? Look inside the refrigerator section.

I had the same problem. I coudn't get the knob to turn. I ended up taking the front grill off so I could get a better grip on the knob. Once I did that I still have to put a lot of pressure on the knob to turn it but that did the trick. When I got it turned a quarter turn then it was easy to pull the filter out. Hope this helps!

Nope. You can't bypass the tube style filter... it's the housing that cracked. That has to be removed and replaced. Sorry to give ya bad news, Mariner.

defrost drain is clogged. defrost drain water is over flowing into bottom. take back panel off. remove ice to find drain hole. use very hot water and turkey baster to wash out till clear.

there are 2 pipes going from the pump at the bottom of your unit ... 1 to the ice maker and the other to the filter for water.
make sure the pip for the ice make is tight in the connector of the valve ... let me know...
