This all depends on the computer your trying to hook up to it... If you have a standard audio jack (such as headphones) you will need a Y adapter to 2 (red and white) audio plugs.
Having both HDMI and Fiberoptic cables causes conflicts with one another, HDMI carries both video and audio signals HDMI = Best. Hook your PS3 to your audio source with HDMI. then configure it through your PS3
Connect the Wii to your television. Then connect the variable audio output from the TV to the audio in on the monitor section of the receiver. Then use the TV/SAT input selection on the receiver and dolby prologic 2 as your sound mode.
You will need the optical cable. My receiver only passes video through the hdmi. So I hooked up the HDMI cable to the tv, and the optical cable to the receiver. Once that is done you have to go to the audio settings for the PS3 and chose audio through the optical.
You should be able to pick any open audio device unless it says pre-amp only. If your manual shows a connection for a CD player or similar device it should support the cable box.
If Aiwa Amp has digital input, just hook it. and if it doesn't have any digital input, hook olf fashione red and white at rear of Aiwa in Aux or Video input like that and other end will go to Monitor Out (red and white) in Bravia TV.
Generally, you only need one 'full' set of connections. If you are using s-video, you'll still need audio red and white or fiber...not both. Fiber is better. Where are you going to get your audio from? That's where you'll want to direct your feed. Some people cheat and run the red/white to the TV when they're too lazy to turn on the receiver! Mute it if it annoys you.
