Is there a limit to the number of files that you can put on a PNY 2 GB SD card? I tried to put photos on a couple that are 2 GB and once I got to about 350 .jpg files it wouldn't let me copy anymore onto the cards. I checked the free space available and still had 1GB + free space. I tried copying larger sized .jpg files and got the same error after around 350 files; this time there was less free space because of the larger files but I was still stuck around 350. Any suggestions???

In this case, it sounds like the card is bad. All you can do is try to clean the gold fingers with a soft cloth and alcohol, and hope that works. It may have corrupted data on it, and be unusable. The best way to know is to buy another one ($9 at Walmart), and then you will at least verify that your phone and computer are good, and the old card bad. Hope it's just dirty fingers, good luck.

I bought two 2 PNY Gig micro SD cards for playing audio books on my new GPS. Neither card will hold more than 170 MP3 files (using less than 1 Gig). I tried formatting using NTDF vs FAT 32. In NTDF, it will accept all files in the book. But, alas, the GPS will only recognize FAT32. So, I bought a 4 Gig SANS card and it seems to hold as many files as I can shovel on it. Seriously doubt it's the extra 2 Gig that allows more files. Suspect PNY is the problem.
