Is there a self cleaning setting on a Bosch double oven HBN7052GB and what would it look like?

The last time we had our oven proffesionally steam cleaned they pointed out that it had a self clean setting....no idea where or what the setting is though.

NO..wont hurt it as loong as you got it all out.. but plz remind her that this is a self cleaning oven....Which does not mean you have to clean it yourself !!! it should be fine.. tell her next time to run it thru a self clean cycle for at least 3.5 hours on the timer setting..

If you have a BOSCH electric Cooker or Fan Oven which isnot heating it could be one of the following problems.
1, If the fan motor in the back of the oven is goinground and the temperature light is on (normally little red light), but there isno heat then you will probably need a new oven element, these are generallyvery easy to fit and readily available from our website these can be testedwith a electric meter.
To gain access to the BOSCH element you will have to remove the back platefrom inside the oven. Once removed you will see the fan and element,if you look closely at the element you will probably see a small holeburnt in it where it has blown. Sometimes however there is no evidence of afault but the element is open circuitie: broken inside the element casing, either way it will need replacing. Some elementswill are fixed from inside the oven and some are held in place by nuts from therear of the machine.

2, If your BOSCH fan oven is getting warm but takes avery long time to cook or is burning the food more on one side than the other, then you need to check if your oven fan motor is working you willsee the blade turning fast if it is ok. if the element is heating but the fan motor is not blowing the heat into theoven then you need To replace the oven fan motor is a little moreexpensive and a bit more involved.
3. If you have theopposite problem ie: your oven is over heating and burning everything then youwill need to replace your BOSCH oven thermostat

4, A quite commonand easily overlooked answer is if your BOSCH oven is not working at all ie: no heatand no fan then the chances are that someone has put the oven timer into AUTO mode, simply put oven back to MANUAL mode and all should be working again.

Bosch hbn7052gb oven trips circuit breaker

That is interesting because the major current draw of your oven will be during startup and warm up. I think I would replace the circuit breaker. As your oven warms, your breaker could be heating up and pops at about 150C.
Might not be the issue but a reasonably cheap place to start.
Good luck

Bottom element has failed. Probably 2 screws at rear to remove & replace. Disconnect fast-ons from rear - extract element - replace. best to get electrician to do this - simple job & element should be inexensive. - Rick

I'm trying to clean my Bosch oven, model number HES5052U, and twice now it gets 30 minutes into the self-cleaning cycle and then it shuts down... flashing Error 41. Everything seems to run smoothly until...

Allow the oven to cool before running self-clean. Always wipe out loose soils or heavy spillovers before running self-clean. If oven is badly soiled, set oven for the maximum self-clean time.

Here is the manual with "troubleshooting". Hopefully, it will help!

Bottom oven doesn't heat after running self-clean cycle

Usually, when an oven won't heat, it's because the bake element is burned out. The bake element is the black, pencil- thick tube at the bottom of the oven. When the oven heats, the element glows red. This element has an expected life-span of several years. It may last for only one; it may last for many more. When the element burns out, you need to replace it.
