Cleaner running slow on worn ceramic feet. Bought unit second hand to replace previous old sytle Navigator then replaced ceramic feet from my old unit. The feet are quite worn. Have a pressure gauge from old unit that shows vac pressure at 7.5 in. Hg (200mm hg.) so don't know if this is too low or too high as I don't have the latest flowmeter. Will new feet enable unti to speed up? Is it getting too much Vacuum as feet are so worn that it sticking to surface?

The flow guage you use to adjust the flow through the hose. It plugs into the end of the hose instead of the cleaner head. Place it under water and adjust the flow till it is between the lines. If you didn't use the other itims on the old unit you won't use them on this one. They would fit in the skimmer where the hose hooks in to it.

You have either a bad or stuck gear box or a loose or damaged a frame bearing. The gear box controls turning and the a frame controls propulsion, but one bad bearing will cause the cleaner to move more in one direction, causing the hose to coil. You can hold the cleaner under the water by the top of the hose, and it should turn in all directions within a few minutes. If it doesn't, then it is the gearbox. If it does, then likely a problem with the a frames.

With these automatic pool cleaners, this is a pretty common problem with newer models and one that is usually an easy fix. First make sure that you are getting the proper amount of water flow and that it is consistent. Too much water flow can cause the cleaner to rise to the surface during cleaning. Make sure that you have proper tension in the rear flap. Too much tension could cause it to float. Make sure that all air is removed from the cleaner head. Make sure that the hose is not becoming tangled and that the return lines are functioning properly.

The feet might be the problem, but more than likely, you have too much suction on the pool vac. There is a suction gauge that comes with all new cleaners and most pool stores will have them available (maybe as a loaner even) to allow you to adjust the suction to your pool cleaner.
Try adjusting your suction to your cleaner to reduce the amount of direct suction to the cleaner to see if it operates, but if your feet are worn, you should definitely replace them.

You have check all of the things that I would usually recommend when these pool cleaners are moving properly. My additional suggestions would be to make sure that your hose is not too short (adding lengths of hose if necessary) and to check for steering failure. Check and clean your rear screen, make sure that your cone gear is operating smoothly in all directions, and clean, repair, and replace (if necessary) your gear box.
