i accidently hit the guide button. now i can't do anything with it.no sound or channels.my tv is an emerson,my device is a #6.ijust bought it about a month ago. thanks

I don't thnk it's related to the tire going. It sounds like a broken or misadjusted brake light switch. It's located under the dash near the top of the brake pedal.

I have the same problem with my verbatim 1 TB HDD, the only one difference is that i accidentally ejected the USB cable from the hard drive (not from the laptop) and after that the connection was lost of course and the small green light on the front side of the hdd was out. i reconnected the hdd but it never turned on again. the same thing happened to my samsung hdd around a year ago. i will never no more trust in these things they're a kind of ****. (a have notice that i avsolutely took care of both hdd)

yep check all fuses make sure they are not loose.check ground wires

I also have this model. A few months ago, when I turned on the tv, it told me my lamp was in need of replacement. just yesterday, my tv did the same as you....the blue light flashed and then the lamp light kept flickering. All I can say is your lamp needs to be replaced.

my television is the same and has been like it for almost 18mths, still to find a cure
