Abs sensors on brakes. Clean abs ring and sensors and make sure they are fully inserted. Almost against rings.

At sounds like a problem with the E.P.S Hve you checked to see if the Air pipes feeding the unit arn't broken or caught. Might even be a broken selector fork in side the box. the old 1825 merc 6x4's Had a similar fault especially the ones on D and E reg
