Hello friend, that's a great question!
From my understanding your Frigidaire Affinity dryer is displaying an error code of "E64". An "E64" error code stands for the heater circuit is open. This could be a possible problem with your heater, wiring harness, or even a miscommunication within your dryer. In order to clear out any miscommunication you can perform a reset on your dryer and to do that you need to unplug the power cord for at least ten minutes. If this does not help to resolve your issue I would recommend having a professional technician out diagnose and repair your dryer to help avoid any future issues or unnecessary part purchases. Hopefully this information is helpful. -Matt
Good Morning Yasmin Abdullah, I am happy to assist you!
Based off the information you have provided your Frigidaire dryer is displaying error code "E64". "E63" typically stands for heater open circuit, which means that it could be a faulty wiring harness or heater. I would suggest performing a reset on your dryer by disconnecting power from it for ten minutes. This could be a false error code or a miscommunication within the board and a reset will help to clear that out. I hope this information is helpful to some degree. -Matt
Hello florekedward - Typically error code E64 indicates that the dryer has detected that the heater circuit is open. If I was in your position, I will highly recommend consulting a professional to move forward accurately. The certified technician will need to check the heater coils and connections for open circuits. Depending on the diagnosis the heater or wiring may need replacing
