Want to download audio book on CD to my MP3 player

I just got a Zen MP3 player for Christmas. I want to download audio books on it. If I have the audio book on CD how do I get that downloaded onto my MP3 player?

Thanks for the help. I did manage to get an audio book uploaded onto my PC, then downloaded onto my MP3 player. The problem is, even tho' I copied the five CDs in order, on the MP3 player the tracts are not in order. The book is all scrambled in sequence. Any ideas how to copy a book on CDs over to an MP3 player and have the story in the right sequence?

I had this jumbled up problem as it wasn't splitting up the tracks ie I had 6 track ones lined up together which put the chapters out of sync.
The trick is to load each CD individually and immediately 'rename' each ie name of book, genre, CD1, CD2 etc.
Then you can drag and drop into the MP3 player and they will be in the correct order.
Worked for me anyway.

Hi. I have a Samsung Sansa MP3 clip-on player. I listen to audio books all the time. I order an audio book online. It comes to me in either a regular CD or an MP3 version (however they manufacture it)....

Normally MP3 players can only play music/audio files in mp3 file format. You need to convert your CDs to mp3 music files onto yourcomputer or download them from the Internet and then copy them to your MP3player.
You can do this using Windows Media player and Rip the CDs - Media Player willcreate a MP3 music file for each music track.

I receive an MP3 M 4804 for Christmas. I wanted to download books on CD that I own. After trying for 4 days, I way able to get an 800 # (1-800-645-4994.) for help from RCA. I was told that the only way to download CD books was use Audible.com....a site where you have to buy the books. I confirmed this with a second call to RCA... So I returned the MP3

When deleting an audio book from my Zen V Plus MP3 player, I have to delete individual chapters. How do I delete the entire book?

Deleting Files,Pictures,Videos,Audio
Books, etc. from MP3 Player/Ipod
------------------------------------------------------------------------
Hook up your mp3 player to your computer
Go to your desktop and double left click on "My Computer"
When it opens you will see listing that says "Devices with Removal
Storage" your mp3 player should be listed there.
Right click on your mp3 player, and a window will open, right click on
"Open" and now your files/songs should be visible.
Hold the left click down and drag it across all the files/songs that you
do not want this will highlight the files/songs you do not want, release,
right click and then click on "Delete"
Now you mp3 player should be clear of the files/songs you do not want.
Be careful and do not delete files needed to operate your MP3 player.
Good Luck,
I hope this helps

I want to download books from my library on to my zen mozaic, I can download them to music but shouldn't they go into an audible file?

The audible file is only for books bought from audible.com. The library books will go into your music folder and be found under albums or artist on Creative players.

One additional tip, you have to get the license to play the library book on your computer and then start playing it on the computer (just the first few words) before transferring the book onto your player. The book has to get the license and be started or it won't play on the player. Something that caused no end of frustration before I figured it out!

Zen V Plus will not play Audible Audio Books

You must upgrade your Audible subscription to get transfer rights - if you ever let your subscription expire, you can kiss those play rights goodbye - this is the cold new world of mp3 player services
