Did u notice the battery was dying earlier then normal time since last few weeks/months?This can happen when the battery cells give up. Pls do not try to charge/overcharge this battery. Replace the battery and it will be back to normal.

Restore phone to factory default settings
Restoring your phone can be useful if you lend out the phone or just want to restore your phone to factory default settings and delete all user data.
To perform a master reset of settings and delete all settings and user data:

1. Select Menu > Settings > General (tab) >Master reset.
2. Select an option:
   • Reset settings:If you want to delete all user data, such as contacts, messages, and downloaded games.
   • Reset all: If you want to reset both user data and restore all original phone settings.
3. Select Continue > Continue.
4. The phone restarts.

Note: When making a factory reset of all content, you may lose content that was in the phone when you purchased it.

To full reset or known as master reset the phone (you need to backup everything on your phone)

1. Go to Menu 'Menu' (you can use the Navi Key to do that)
2. Then select 'Settings'
3. Click on the 'General' tab and press 'Master reset'
4. Press select on 'Reset all'
5. After reading the warning message
6. Press 'Continue' for the phone to reset.

This should full reset your Sony Ericsson C905.

Thanks for using FixYa. Please check the sim card first because it might not be making good contact to the prongs. It's not the phone causing the ‘no network coverage’ issue, it's either the sim needs to be removed and wiped off with a soft cotton material and then reinserted or it's the network having problems itself. Also try the sim card in another phone. If it works, then the problem is with the handset. If the sim doesn't work in another handset then contact your network provider to get the sim replaced. If it is still under warranty you'll need to take it back where you purchased it from to get it repaired or replaced.

Please do accept the solution if the issue is resolved or else revert for further assistance.

I have the same problem and i thought that resetting the phone may some how resolve it, but didnt, however it got sorted out when i turrned off the phone, removed the battery, put iit back on and restart the phone. Looks like the MAC address gets reset which caused the orignal problem and doing the above causes it it reset properly

i think the se c905 has no front camera for video calling, when you open the lens cover you probebly can do videocalling, you wont be able to see the person you are calling with.
