How do I adjust the presser foot shank on the Bernina 790

Difficult to understand your question. Why would you need to adjust a presser foot shank? It should either work on your machine or not. If it is the wrong presser foot, then you should get the correct one. The only adjustments I've heard being made on Bernina presser feet is to adapt a presser foot for an older machine to a newer machine, or vice versa. That involves making a permanent modification to the latch apparatus.

I have Bernia 180. The bottom thread is puckering. Top thread is perfect. I cannot find help in manual. Please help

Check that the bobbin is inserted turning the proper direction in the bobbin case and that the thread is threaded correctly through the tension control on the bobbin case.

Make sure the upper thread is threaded correctly. The factory standard upper tension setting is midway between high & lower number although this may need to be tweaked for your particular machine.

If the machine is still pulling the bobbin thread too tight, you can try tightening the upper thread tension. If it still isn't resolved, you may need to loosen the bobbin tension.

You might also want to check the presser foot pressure on your machine. That generally needs adjustment when changing from thicker to thinner fabric and vice versa.

Why do people say they can't hear me when I call them?

Well, there's a bunch of reasons why that could be:

•You speak in a muffled/slurred voice that is difficult to understand when the listener is not looking at you
•Your phone's microphone is defective and need repair/replacement
•you have a case on the 5c that covers one or both of the microphones. There are two mics on the 5c: one that actually captures the intended audio and the other there listens for background noise. What the phone sends to the listener on the other end is a subset of the two microphone sources passed through a complex filter.
The "main" mic is on the bottom of the iPhone while the background sensing mic is on the rear housing between the camera and flash.
•you have debris/dirt in the microphone holes

When I hold my new iPhone 5 with my left hand, the caller says my voice is muffled. Not so if holding phone on right side.

This is because the mic is located on the left side (phone facing toward you) as you switch hands the mic is moved further from your mouth.

Hello everyone. I need a cable for bose system CineMate GS. I want to connect speakers of another brand, but I need the configuration of serial cable to do it myself, someone can assist with the...

"CAUTION: Make no modifications to the system or accessories. Unauthorized alterations may compromise safety, regulatory compliance, and system performance."

That warning is not in the manual to just protect their market share. Even if you succeed in making the desired electrical connections the results may be less than stellar.

I'm not saying this IS the case but here is some Food for thought.

Bose's main claim to fame, the 901, was always based on achieving flat audio response from full-range speakers (NO WOOFERS or TWEETERS in the case of 901's) through the use of large amounts of prioprietary equalization applied to the audio signal. Another evolutionary step way in Bose amp/speaker systems was to deviate, sometimes drastically, from the 8-ohm speaker driver standard and design the mated amp to work with the selected load. THAT is just two reasons why no specs are published for the sub-parts of any BOSE SYSTEM. It's a system.

In the mix n match world of COMPONENTS specs are published so one can choose a given speaker for use with a given amp and expect electrical compatibility, frequency response and power handling.

Except for standalone passive speaker systems, mixing and matching Bose speakers with third party electronics (or vice versa) is discouraged as being potentially dangerous and at the least sonically unwise. For example, if you've ever heard how a Bose 901 Active Equalizer sounds with non-Bose 901 speakers you'd understand.

Maybe someone else can fill in the pin-outs of the cable and chime in on whether or not Brand X speakers will work with the Cinemate amps. Not knowing what other brand/model you're contemplating, it would be impossible for anyone to offer a qualified judment on that score.

I have an iphone3G and cannot hear a caller and vise versa then after a second the flightmode icon is automatic on.

Cut a tiny **** through the plastic, where your ear goes. It makes it about 5 times louder. The plastic covers the **** and muffles it big time. After this you can hear people speaking much much better.

Callers sound muffled

Your phone's speaker could be going out. Has this problem progressively become worse or did it happen all of a sudden? And what is the make and model of the phone in question, and how old is it?
It may be time to upgrade, as your phone may not be worth the trouble, we'll know better when you provide some information about your phone.
It could be that the speaker got damp and that's causing the muffling sound? More detailed information will always get you better Solutions. Your problem description contains only three words, causing my reply to be this lengthy and non productive.
Good luck.
