Epic front load washer said suds, then nd, now has standing water

Nd indicates a drain Pump problem. Maybe just a clogged filter, or if no obstructions found, replace pump. Also, too many suds can cause this problem.

you probably used too much detergent or the wrong type. These new front loaders take no-suds detergent, a shot glass half full worth. The suds get in the water level tube and the level sensor and everywhere else, and cause mayhem. Run some loads with no detergent at all to try to clean the suds out. If the thing works like it should sometimes, it's a cheap fix. The brain power to find a problem and fix it for good, not so cheap. Water Level Switch

Don't know if this is your problem but sometimes ours will appear to drain, but there is still a lot of suds that remains and trips the nd (no drain) indicator/lockout. We had to pour water in from a bucket to beat down the suds, then repeat several times to get all the suds out. First time I took off the back of the washer, disconnected the pump, then let the suds out. To much work.

From what you're describing it sounds like the drain pump is blocked. The nd error code indicates "no drain". If the unit can't drain it won't spin. You're going to have to slide the washer out far enough to remove the rear panel; be careful not to damage the floor. Once you get the rear panel off you will see the pump. Be sure to have plenty of towels & a small container to catch water. I am sending you instructions from the service manual to remove and replace the pump. Another possibility is the drain line is blocked or something is stuck in the tub to pump hose.

The F2 error codes means LONG DRAIN TIME and the suds code the washer detected water in tub after normal alloted drain time...so basically the F2&SUDS means the same thing. A lot of times when it does not drain fast enough,its caused by a blocked filter on the pump being biult up with debris. This tip i wrote will show ya how to clean the pump filter.

The ND error code means NO DRAIN, why it comes up is because the computer thinks that within the normal times it takes to drain the water from the tub it hasnt drained in that time.
Things that will cause it to not drain in the normal time is oversudsing becuase too much detergent was added.
Or something such as lint in the drain pump filter screen restricting the water flow into the pump

The "nd" indicates "no drain" and would usually mean something is wrong with the drain pump.

I would suggest checking the drain pump for obstructions or if it hums or tries to run.

Most likely there is a piece of clothing in the pump or it's bad and needs to be replaced.

The wrong soap might cause excessive suds and create a drain problem.

The image below will help you remove the front panel to access the pump.

ND No Drain Machine control board monitors water level in washer during and at the end of pump out. If wash level does not reset pressure switch, it will see water left in the washer. 1.Check for pump/drain restriction. 2.Check pump operation.
3.Check pressure switch for open contacts.
4.Check inputs and outputs at machine control board.
5.Replace responsible component.

ND= No Drain
you may haved a clog in the pump
or you might just be going inot suds lock on too much soap
my suggestion is to let it sit for twenty minuts
put it in spin, drains normal cut way back on your soap
if not
remove the back panel
remove the hoses and

"nd" refers to a No Drain issue .check for restriction in pump, restricted drain hose loose wire at pump, bad pump.
The pump had a suds lock. Unplug the machine for a minute. Plug it back in and run a cycle on hot to get rid of the excess soap.
