Possible that the door lock is not actuated to open after the end of the cycle and could be jammed. try using a degreasing spray like WD 40 and if there is any issue with the lock. check this link: door lock
The timer is not stopping the agitate mode. And the timer is suppose to have its own off setting at the end of cycles. Suspect pretty strongly that the timer is at fault. Cant say for sure without looking at a wire diagram and eliminating any other controls.
