My cigaret lighters will not work!

I tried to use an inverter in the cigaret lighter for a long trip and all of the sudden non of them would work

You probably blew a fuse what i recommend is have an extra battery installed in the car have it fixed where it would also be charged by the same alternator and this would solve the problem in the future

There is a 20amp fuse for cigar-aux... It will be fuse #20.. Best of Luck

No power to the cigarete liter. on a 2001 prizm
you either have a bad fuse or you have a wire lose on the cigarete lighter. i would check the fuse first and then if that not it pop the cigarete lighter out and check the wires on the back.

Engine compartment (left side), fuse #1 and #6. In MB cigar lighter only works when key is on.

I think you have a W211 if it's a sedan. W210 only goes thru 2002.

Also check the lighter filament. It may just be burned out.

Hello, try plugging something else into your cigaret lighter and see if it worgs EG: mobli phone charger. If it works it means that you need to replace your cigaret lighter. I hope this helps.
