Display clock failure so no main oven

The display and clock failed to function thus you cannot operate the main oven as this is controlled from the clock display. It is only 2 months out of guarantee. Please can anyone HELP!!!!! Ann

Same problem. About 8 months out of warranty, clock/timer failed so no main oven.

  • Anonymous Jun 06, 2008

Very soon after I bought this cooker in 2004 the timer kept flashing and I couldn't set it. It was under guarantee and was replaced. Judging by the response of the repair man it was not uncommon! Now it has happened again and I cannot use the main oven because the timer must be set correctly.

Check you have power to clock and if not, check wiring back to find out why not. to get oven working, you can bypass the clock by joining the two wires to the clock relay. these clocks are remarkably expensive

I have a Frigidaire Range model PLES389DCC, it's top cooking function well, but display panel PF show, the clock start from 12:00 (after off/on circuit breaker) and kicking. I have order the control panel...

The clock may be set for 12 or 24 hour time of day operation.
The clock has been preset at the factory for 12
hour operation. When the range is first plugged in or when
the power supply to the range has been interrupted, the
timer in the display will flash and PF (power failure) will
appear in the display.
To set the clock:
1. Press Clock . "CLO" will appear in the display.
2. Example for 1:30. Press the numbers 1 3 0 to
set the time of day to 1:30. "CLO" will disappear
after 4 seconds and the clock will start. Or you may
press Start. "CLO" will disappear and the clock will
start.
