Fable 2 and the constant crashing

I have had 2 copies of fable 2 and it still keeps crashing plus i have a brand new 360 i have never come across this before on that consol so wot the grrrrrrr is going on its gotta be lion heads fault with the game mayb they need 2 pull their finger out there arse and sort it Grrrrrrrrrrrr.....

    i was playing fable 2 about 3 hours ago and i started the hero of will quest i got to the top of the tower i saw the man get taken away the camera then went back to my person and then it crashed i haven't been able to get it to work since........ any help with this would a god send ........ Ps - i dont want to start the game again because ive nearly got the achievement were you have to have a 2.5million gold real estate empire....

    im sorry if this is a ridiculous question to you guys but im technologically challenged,; how do you install a game directly to the hard drive?

I had that exact same problem. I'd play for a few minutes, and then the game would freeze. The only thing I could do to have an effect once this happened, was to hit the power button on the console.
I installed the game onto the HDD, and haven't have a single problem since. I have yet to install the upgrade, as I'd read on a couple different sites that this was causing some problems as well.

I agree with mnickel75 ,I installed to the hard drive and it solved my crashing problem.

When I try to load my saved Fable II games on my xbox 360 and hit 'Continue', it says "verifying saved game" but just continues to run without finding the saved content.
Either your savegame got deleted or corrupted. If it still shows up in the main menu, I would suggest copying it to a flash drive and trying to start a new game. If you can make a new game then your savegame is corrupt and you cannot use it anymore. If it will not allow you to make a new save then chances are your Fable 2 disk has been scratched and can no longer be used.

My language on Fable 2 is in like polish... ALL of my system settings have been checked and they are all in english. I have trie several copies of the game and they all do this. This is also the only game...
When you first start the game, look at the menu where the options: "New Game" and "Continue" are, there should be "Language/s". Try changing it to English, enter the game, save and quit. Then exit to Dashboard and try again.

One. Make sure the bar code on the band on the inner ring is perfectley clean and dusted. Two blow into the disc drive to make sure there is no dust on the laser. Three, get a professional to look at it such as a person at Game or at Gamestation. Four, try replacing the copy (NOT RECOMMENDED YOU COULD WASTE MONEY)

Just bought a copy of fable 2 platinum hits for my xbox 360 the game wil not load exchnged it 3 times at gamestop still no load all my other games load on this console except this one any one ever get this...
i do not think someone has experienced something like this but you could always try saving the game to the hard drive before you play and playing it off the harddrive which would make sense to work but if this has not fixed it, it means you have had a damaged fable 2 in your hardrive at one point and the only fix would be is to try to get a new xbox 360 if you are really keen on playing this game

Fable Freeze
Sounds like the disc may be damaged. You might wanna go get it repaired. This can normally be done at most game retailers.

Brand new fable2 freezes on brand new xbox360 pro
Since your Xbox is brand new, you can just install Fable 2 to the hard disk of your xbox 360. I didn't have this problem with Fable 2 - but that's maybe because I installed it to the HD from the start. Fallout 3 did freeze on me, but installing it to the HD fixed the issue. Don't get any ideas though, you still need to insert the disk if you want to play ;-)

This is how you do it:

  1. Load the disk into your Xbox 360 console and go to your Xbox 360 console
  2. Scroll down to My Xbox
  3. Scroll across to Game Library and hit the A button
  4. This should put you on the Recent Games window and your game should be highlighted, so you should just need to hit the A button. Otherwise, scroll to the Recent Games window and choose the game.
  5. On the game screen, choose Install to Hard Drive. This process should take a few minutes, but once it is complete, you'll be able to enjoy improved performance.
You'll also note that the game screen contains all kinds of great information about the game such as the achievements unlocked and featured downloads available for the game.

i had a little problem like that but what i did was installed the game onto the hardrive and i have never had it crash once after works nicely. if u have got a hard drive with yours install it inot the hard drive and it will work as long as u have 6.7 gb free space :)
