Hp pavilion dv6700 amd turion 64x2 mobile...need ethernet driver

Pls i need help my hp pavilion has no compatible ethernet controller driver.. i have downloaded its drivers from hp support center but it doesnt fits.... pls help.. can you tell were i can find its driver

what i mean about it doesnt fits it means its not the compatible driver for its hardware....hp's support download center doesnt have the driver the drivers that i need for my notebook hope you can help me again

By doesn't fit, do you mean gives you a microsoft verification error, such as "this driver is not verified by Microsoft."?

If that is the case, let it install anyhow. HP knows better than Microsoft whether the drivers will work.

oh.. well that changes things.
can you ping the bus to see what chipset is actually running in there?
you can sometimes do that by going into the device manager and looking inside there.

Do you have the disk that comes with the computer? that should have the correct driver on it.

It's a driver issue. i suggest that you install RadarSync so that you can scan your computer with it. it will return a reminder that you need to update some drivers. Update them using RadarSYnc or by searching for the drivers in Google.
Updating the drivers in your computer usually does the trick in fixing software issues. Want to keep max performance of your computer? I think RadarSYnc can help
