SOURCE: more then one ball coming out

Your "ball detent" has worn out. This is a little rubber nipple inside the breech of your gun (where the balls go into the gun from your hopper) that has torn. This is a normal wear and tear item and will cost you only a few dollars to repair. You have to buy this part from your local paintball pro shop they will have it.

SOURCE: I attempted to put a car stock on my Tippmann 98

Check the O rings on the big metal striker, make sure that you have the spring on the back (where the stock would have went) in the right hole on the back plate. Make sure that your velocity is set to a reasonable level.

SOURCE: when i put my co2 tank in my tipman 98 custom it

Not much to go on there... Here's some general guidelines for ya:

Make sure your marker is properly clean and lubed with a quality oil made for paintball use.

Make sure you have a full tank of air.

Make sure the safety pin isn't engaged.

If you can **** it and it doesn't fire and cycle when you pull the trigger you may have a stuck valve or you pin depressor isn't long enough or the valve on the tank is low.

If the basics above don't get you going, checkout your local airsmith or paintball store and see if they can't get you pointed in the right direction.

Good luck!

SOURCE: i added a stock to my tippman 98 custom and it

Check and make sure that it's secured properly and that the spring is seated correctly in the back.

Make sure it's clean and lubed with a quality oil made for paintball.

If neither of those is the culprit keep trying to use it. The feel will definitely be a little different and it may just "seem" like it's not the same gun, because it's not. Some players like a stock, and some not, and some don't know until they've tried one. Practice with it for a while and see if you're view changes (assuming the above isn't an issue).

If you decide it has problems, check out your local airsmith and make sure everything else is in good shape.

Good luck!

SOURCE: balls fall out of my tippman 98 custom when i put

There's a ball stop nubbin just in front of where the ball drops. You may have lost yours and you'll need to get another one.

If that's there it could just be the ball itself. Paintballs and barrels come in a variety of sizes, so you may have to sample a few different kinds to find what works best for your barrel and doesn't roll out the front on you.

Good luck!

Paintballs keep blowing up in my tippmann 98 custom HELP!

it could be a combination of a number of things.. most likely it has to do with the type of paint you're shooting; in regards to shell.. tippman guns are harder on paint therefore require a harder shell paint, also not all paintballs are exactly .68 caliber, meaning some a bigger and some are smaller.. could be that they're slightly to big for the bore of you barrell

I fire the gun and it doesnt wanna stay cocked i have to **** it every time i wanna fir

One.. dirty...

Two.. no lube/wrong lube...

Three.. no air...

or any combination of the above. Make sure you have a full tank, clean the marker and use paintball-specific oil to lube the internals. The 98 is a very dependable marker and I'm sure once you have the basics down you'll find it very reliable.

Good luck!

Wont stay cocked

If you ran out of air, it won't stay cocked.
OR
The sear may have been displaced. That would require a disassemble. It is not that difficult, just do it on a white pillowcase and be sure not to let any springs fly all over the place.
