I had the same thing happen to mine. I looked at the hose in the water tank and the screen at the end if the hose was slimy and clogged. I took the screen off and cleaned it up, put everything back together and it works like new again. Only 2 screws and a screen.

Yep!!! Took the spray nozzles off, etc. This was the problem- a screen inside the clean water tank Rug Doctor doesn’t even mention in their videos!!!!

To fix little or no spray, clean the screen on the end of the hose inside the clean water tank! Despite the ultra-fine mesh you pour the solution through, dog hair manages to fall into the tank still. Remove the two screws on the mesh screen and the filter is in the very front of the tank on the end of the visible hose.

SOURCE: I have a rug doctor blue machine. It will not

Only two things can be wrong here, either the solution hose is plugged, kinked or undone from it's source, or the pump motor is not working. I'd try the hose first, if you can, take it off at the pump and then turn the machine on. If you get solution pumping out of the unit, then it's not the little pump motor and your problem is in the hose.

I have a rug doctor carpet pro its red. Brushes will turn, hand tool will work but when on carpet won't spray water

Take it to your local vac shop for diagnosis. Sounds like a bad pump, or possibly a bad pump switch. It could also be a stuck diverter valve

Will not spray

The heater is probally clogged. Remove the upper housing and locate a rectagular shaped object in the middle of machine. Remove six bottom screws and clean with stiff brush, clear all lines then run 3 tanks of hot water trhought he system to clear it.
