How much will it cost to fix my sidekick 3 screen? it is my best friends sidekick and he gave it to me.
i need to fix my sidekick id screen how do i fix it? or can someone fix it for me?
I've never dropped my sidekick 08 but twice ive been charging my phone and all of the sudden the screen fades then the light says its charging but the screen never works the first time i got a new one but it happened again any suggestions on what i can do with tmobile and etc.
It's like $50 to $60. purchase the screen and go to local store to fix

You will need a LCD and torx screwdrivers to get it open.
Check out these ones on ebay. Some of them come with a screwdriver and instructions.

I imagine that the cable may be loose. Follow the procdedure at the following link to reset the connector for the lcd.

When it asks you for the code, and it's talking about the phone being locked and you havent yet switched the phone over to your phone number, then enter the last 4 digits of your friends phone number. If you've already switched it, enter in the last 4 digits of your phone number.
If it's asking for another code, I'd just call Verizon...they have help for switching to a new phone/activating a new phone that should help you out.

either the trackball is broken or it need to clean.
if its dirty;;then what you need to do is
to have a q-tip and alcohol then drop a small
amount of it on a q-tip and rub(hover) around it
until it works again.
if its broken, then youre looking in get a replacement the whole
phone. so, give a CC ring and let them know about it and they should
be able to get you a replacement that is if they still have some skID left
in the "warehouse" stock. which it has happened with mine as well like few
months ago and i can able to get a replacement. once, i got mines
its working perfectly fine.
(if they cant get you a replacement for a sidekick ID, then i assumes they will
offer you to choice the phone you want;; like,
sidekick 08 or tony hawk sidekick lx)
