Most models also have a filter indicator reset button located in the same area. After changing the filter, reset the filter status light by pressing the Filter Indicator Reset button or by pressing and holding the Filter button for 3 seconds. The status light will change from red to green or the status display will change from "Replace" to "Good" when the system is reset.

If your model has a water filter indicator, but no reset button, press the light switch in the refrigerator compartment 5 times within 10 seconds to reset the system. The status light will change from red to green when the system is reset.

I HAVE A SAMSUNG SIDE BY SIDE FRIDGE. WHEN DISPENSING WATER, THE WATER VALVE HAS AN EXTREMLLY LOUD VIBRATION. HAD THE FRIDGE FOR 6 MONTHS AND IT JUST STARTED DOING IT.

check to make sure the filter is clean and as in most cases there are 2 electromagnetic solendoid valves in the back of the fridge..lower right corner which dispences water to freezer for ice and to the door for H2O. Hope this helps..Jarhead

I have a Maytag side by side w/ ice and water dispencer. Have been having intermittent problems with unit not dispencing water and not making ice(water not filling in to ice tray)unit is now making ice but...

YOU COULD HAVE A BAD WATER VALVE OR YOUR TANK IS CLOGGED UP AND STOPPING THE WATER FLOW THROUGH THE LINES. MOST MODELS HAVE A TANK IN THE BACK OF THE SHELVES ON THE REFRIGERATOR SIDE DOWN AT THE BOTTOM. IT WILL BE LOCATED BEHIND A PANEL YOU WOULD HAVE TO REMOVE SHELVES AND SCREWS TO GET TO IT BUT FIRST CHECK VALVE SOME SYSTEMS HAVE MULTI VALVES WHERE ON CONTROLS THE ICE MAKER AND THE OTHER ON THE DISPENSER.

The water will not come out of the dispencer.

There is one water valve but two solenoids, one for the icemaker and one for the water dispencer. If power is getting to the solenoid then replace the water valve. No power getting to the solenoid then the switch at the dispencer is bad.

Sid by side ice dsspencer and water dispencer(all the indicator light suddently are shut off) not working

you could have a problem with your dispenser module. a burnt pcb that could lead to all of your problems. switches not working, lights not working, dispenser not working, etc.

check your dispenser module and if you find a burnt part or a burnt PCB, then replace it.

Hamilton beach brewstation

I found this site that calls it a "permanent dispencing filter" but the small print says that it is the small domed filter that sits on the bottom of the tank so I sounds like the same as the filter screen. FYI, there is a pricing conflict when you click on the part. The part link shows that it's $4.99 but when you select the part or try to order it, it comes up as $5.99. Here's the link http://abtecparts.com/hamilton_beach_brew_station_filters.htm

I will probably still call HB tomorrow and see what the want for it before I buy.
