Cannot get ipod touch to connect to wireless network

I am unable to connect my ipod touch to my wireless network.  The ipod picks up the network but will not accept the password. The network is running via a linksys wireless g router and my computers are apple.  I have used the password as shown via the Mac keychain access.  Any suggestions would be appreciated.
Thanks.

Many Wi-Fi issues can be resolved by doing the following:
Basic troubleshooting

  • Tap Settings > Wi-Fi and turn Wi-Fi off and then on again.
  • Verify that you are in range of your Wi-Fi router or base station.
  • Confirm that your Wi-Fi router and Cable/DSL modem are connected to power and turned on.
  • Check whether other devices (portable computers, for example) are able to connect to the Wi-Fi network and access the Internet.

If you are switching between different Wi-Fi networks and you are unable to access the Internet on the iPhone or perform other data activities thru Wi-Fi, try turning Airplane Mode on and then off (tap Settings and turn Airplane Mode on and then turn Airplane Mode off). For iPod touch, turn Wi-Fi off and then back on again (tap Settings > Wi-Fi and turn Wi-Fi off and then turn Wi-Fi on). If the issue continues, tap Settings > Wi-Fi > Other (under Choose a Network) and then enter the Wi-Fi Network Name (SSID) and select your Security setting and enter your password.

Cannot connect ipod touch to linksys router

Use an Ethernet cable to connect a computer to a port on the router.
Access the router's built-in web-interface, and run the "Wireless Networking Setup Wizard", to configure your wireless network,
and pick an SSID and pick a password.

Then, after restarting the router, enable the wireless networking on your iPod Touch, and it should find your SSID. Enter your password, and you will get connected.

IPod Touch does not connect to my home network?

In my case, I keep getting endlessly prompted to enter my passcode for my wireless router. I found that if I reboot the iTouch - hold down the top power button and slide the "slide to power off". Wait for it to finish powering off and then power it back on by holding the same button. When it comes back up it automatically connects to my home network again. Seems to happen every time I connect to an outside wifi network and then return home... I wish I knew WHY it does this - I suspect it has something to do with how my home wireless router is configured.

My ipod touch is connected but won't use the internet.

Your router is blocking the iPod Touch from using the wireless.  Go into your router settings (depends on your router) and find the security or firewall for the wireless page.  You will need to enter in the MAC address of the iPod Touch (found in Settings>General>About - it is labeled as Wi-Fi address).

Can't connect my Ipod touch to my router?

You must be sure to what router you are trying to connect. I understand you have a ZyXel and a linksys. You must have 2 wireless networks. Your wireless network must be secured, so you just have to use the correct password. I need more details. Try this http://technicalsupport.blog.friendster.com

Can't connect my Ipod touch to my router?

did you setup a wireless network ? if you didnt go to control panal and then wireless network setup icon and follow instructions (select automatically provide network key option) then follow instructions and finish. once you did that, search through wifi on youf phone it should find your WNetwork and then connect and enjoy. if you want to use internet and have an ADSL modem, make sure that the modem is connected to the internet RJ45 plug on your router. and from router to PC.

good luck, i hope this helps
