SOURCE: West Bend 36 cup coffee maker amounts

It's a percolator. Use about 1 heaping teaspoon of coffee per cup. Each coffee pot is different. You will have to adjust the amount of coffee for what you like.

check the water temp and make sure the grind is not to fine. if both of these checkout ok then it may be a weak pump. you will have to find a replacement pump.

Making Espresso shots... how does the macine do this? Not in man

www.partsguru.com look to the left for Saeco Home Models, select that, then go the model you have and download the manual.

On a magic comfort it has two settings for adjusting the espresso shot besides the amount of the shot. .

On a magic comfort plus,
you can adjust the grind size, the amount used for the shot, preinfusion (a short shot of hot water on the grinds before the unit passes all the water through the puck (coffee grinds), temperature and amount of water for shot

Also, when setting the strength on this machine, don't use a full grind amount as it can jam the machine. use a setting of 6 or 7 max for strong shots, not the 8 or 9 setting!!!
