Hello - The error code "E20" typically means the water is not draining properly or not pumping out fast enough. Does the washer making a humming noise? If so, either the drain hose may be kinked or the drain in the house is clogged. Once you have confirmed and cleaned the hose and issue continues contact a professional to move forward accurately. The unit may possibly have a faulty pump or control board.

holla, Im not showing a E20 code on the tech sheet. There is a E21. Water not draining fast enough. Try holding the start/pause and cancel key together for 3 seconds. The door lock, wash, rinse and final spin leds should light. Any error codes should be displayed when holding those keys. If you see a different error code, post it. If not, I would suspect a clogged pump...Catriver.

thank you larkinator.. that totally fixed the problem as far as i can see right now, I am letting it "wash" a load of nothing. it was a bunch of BS how they hid the filter... I had to literally take apart my whole machine. :-) but its fixed, THANKS!!!!!

clogged filter will cause this error code. I have the same washer and the filter located inside the rubber boot attached to the pump was full of junk. there was enough room for water to get thru but not enough for full volume. clean it out and it should work. note : its a pain to get the boot back on so be ready and take it slow. this worked for me.

When ours does that it is because of the hard water build up. We have to un-hook the hot water clean out the minerals and it stops doing it.

E20 error is known for pump out issue.The first thing I recommend is to take off the front bottom cover(below the door) tilt the washer back some,remove the clamps and hoses from the drain pump.It should be on your right hand side.Check the pump and hose to remove the clogging.This tends to be a common problem with Frigidaire front loaders.Now when you all done with that put it back together and do a test run.
