Unable to connect xbox 360 to Guitar HeroWT Wireless Drums/Guitar

I recently bought Guitar Hero World Tour for my Xbox 360 and I am unable to connect the wireless drums and guitar to my Xbox 360. When I first tried it didn't work at all. Then I unplugged the power cord from the Xbox 360 and it connected for about a minute, then the contact between the controller and the Xbox cut off again. After this I am still unable to connect at all again.

    Hey, my problem is similar, I tried connecting my guitar to guitar hero world tour and I think it conneced. It's just I can't scroll with my guitar. It won't recognize it. Please help! VERY frustrated!!!!!!!!

Did you sync your guitar and drums first? They are just like a normal xbox 360 wireless controller, you need to sync them.

Unfortunately, Guitar Hero 3 does not support drums. World Tour is the first game in the series to support them. In addition, if they aren't official Guitar Hero drums, they aren't guaranteed to work with World Tour. Hopefully they do work. Good luck!

The guitar syncs the same was a regular controller does.

There's a tiny sync button near the XBox button on the guitar. Press that, and then the sync button on your Console.

Can't use drums for rockband on guitar world tour
The instruments for Rock Band and GH:WT are compatible on the PS3 and the Xbox 360, not the Wii. Blame Activision, the creators of GH:WT - they went a different route with hardware for the Wii that made things incompatible.

i couldn't get the console to see the guitar, so after making sure the the remotes were synched with the console individually, i pressed the reset on the console and then started guitar hero software before putting the remote in the guitar, making sure the first light remained lit in the remote. (am only using the guitar). so far so good, seems to have worked.

Just got the xbox 360 guitar hero world tour for christmas. We got the drums and guitar working with no problems, but the microphone wont work. Is that supposed to plug directly into the console?
What you need to do is plug the microphone into the xbox 360, then you need to connect a regular 360 controller to the xbox... there are not any buttons on the microphone which is why the controller is needed.
