You can use any of those media programs to sync music on but when you want to put videos on pictures on you have to use the sandisk sansa converter software.

Try Windows Media player that comes with your Windows operation system. For Real media, try Real player. Also you can try Media player classic.

When visiting some web pages, see only the red x where a video (possibly a real player link) is suppose to be. don't know where to find a solution to this delemma or what is missing. recently downloaded...

Depends on your browser, if you have more than one browser on your computer tray another one to see if that makes a difference. Also in your browser menu bar there should be a selection for updates, plug ins, add ons or something like that. Click that link and see what you might be able to download for your browser

WINDOWS MEDIA PLAYER SOUNDS BAD

download real player, if everything sounds good with real player, uninstall windows media player and reinstall it. If you keep reinstalling it ontop of itself the issue will not get fixed. Its probably a media codec issue.

Monitor Problem

1. Try using a different media player like k-lite windows media player classic or GOM player.

2. Is the lcd set at it's native resolution ? Set it to native resolution.

3. Has the driver for the lcd been installed and does it show up properly in device manager ? Install the lcd driver if applicable.

4. What are your system's specs, especially graphic card ?

5. Has the latest graphic card drivers been installed ? Install latest drivers.

6. Does using VGA or DVI make any difference ?

7. You would've probably already checked windows media player settings.

Hopefully some of these will solve the problem.

Have video but no audio when playing dvd movies in wmp 11

Solution:
Well i could recommend another free video player instead of Windows Media Player 11. In this case, try installing Real Alternative, VLC, GoomPlayer all lf them support DVDs format.

I recommend Real Alternative over all 3 of them, to get it go here:
1) http://www.videohelp.com/tools/real_alternative and click on the "Download (mirror)".
2) after download is complete start the installation make sure to UNCHECK the following checkmarks during installation: Active X, and pluggin for firefox/opera/chrome/etc. you can leave the rest of the installation as default and click next all the time.
3) whenever you want to play a DVD close WMP 11 start Media Player Classic (installed during the real alternative installation, there should be a shourcut icon on your desktop for Real Player Classic now) on Media Player Classic go to File>Open DVD and you should have picture and sound.

Another extra side note of Real Alternative is that you can also play real media files (.rm, .rmvb) without having to install the nasty Real Media Player application

Hope this helps.
