Connecting Logitech speakers to Sylvania TV

In my old tv i could just connect a cable from my logitech speakers directly into what seemed to be a headphone jack(I use the speakers for my laptop by connecting it to the headphone jack) . On this new tv i cant find any thing similar to the headphone jack in the old tv, so what do i connect it to? All the audio inputs in the tv dont fit with the cable from the speakers.

If it helps the tv is a
Sylvania LC320SS9

SOURCE: can't connect wireless stereo to sylvania 6620LF4

Hi, Ok, I now understand what the problem is. Sorry I missed the fact that it is due to no audio outputs on the TV. The audio board is designed to power low impedance speakers and doesn't have a big power amp to drive them. I do not have a schematic of that particular TV so I do not know how the headphone jack is wired. The way it basically works is, when you insert the plug, the tip pushes a contact away from another contact thus making one circuit and breaking another. You can test this externally by inserting an unwired plug or look at it from the inside and bridge the tip connection. I would only advise this if you have some technical skills. Other than that the thing is working like it was designed, they don't want you to use both. Sorry, I hate to give this type of news, but I am one of the only ones who will. Good Luck to you!

SOURCE: Need remote code for Sylvania 32" LC320SS9 for Dish controller

Please follow the steps below to program your remote control to equipment other then your DISH receiver:
Note: If you start this procedure and at any time and do not press a button within 20 seconds, the remote will end the procedure automatically. Simply start over again. Use the TV button for your TV, the VCR button for your VCR or DVD player. These Mode buttons are located at the top of your remote control.
1. With the desired equipment on, press and hold the correct Mode button until all mode button backlights illuminate, then release.
2. Press the numbers 5-0-0 on the remote control.
3. Press the Pound (#) button on the remote.
4. Press and hold the correct Mode button until all mode button backlights illuminate, then release.
5. Press and release the Power button on the remote control.
6. Press the Up button once a second while pointing the remote at the desired equipment. If the code for the equipment comes up, the equipment will power off.
7. Press the Pound (#) button. If the code entered is valid for the remote, the mode light flashes three times.
8. To verify the code works try several different functions for that equipment.
We cannot guarantee our remotes will work all other devices. If this does not correct the issue, unfortunately our remote will not work for that device. We apologize for any inconvenience this may cause.
Let me know how it goes and please rate this solution

Hook mz506 surround sound to my Samsung tv

Typically surround sound is run through a receiver or stereo. The sound from the tv is carried to the receiver by cables (hdmi or Audio-Video connected to input area of receiver). Then the speakers are connected to the output area of the receiver.
If you are not using a receiver, then the speakers must be able to connect directly to the tv and you have to see what kind of cabling your tv supports.

How to connect speakers logitech z 5500 to the TV Samsung UN32F5500 32-Inch 1080p 60Hz Slim Smart LED

Hello there!
I have seen manuals of both the systems. You have two options to connect Logitech z5500 speakers to Samsung UN32F5500 TV.
1. With Optical Audio Cable.

0daa0bcc-2410-4f3f-9f1b-001ec53d8ec3.jpg

2. Stereo Ear Phone Connection.
Simply plug in Green earphone cable of Logitech Speakers to Green Audio out Jack described on Page 7 of the TV manual. If you are using stereo EP you may not experience 5.1sound separation. And it is also mentioned that you should not use other two audio cables of the tri-EP-cable provided with Logitech speakers.

Have a nice day!

I have some logitech Z4 computer speakers

If your TV has a headphone socket, then plug the speakers into there, then (you have to do this for some TVs, but not others), go into the set-up menu and turn the headphone volume to 70%. Switch on the Z4 and sound should come out, assuming all connections are correct.

How do i conneect logitech speaker to a vizio flat screen?

Well these speakers, as you said, are designed for PC, not TV. Even if they work with one TV, that does not mean they will work for another TV! I am glad to help for a Premium Question!

Connecting to my DVD player

If you are going to connect your DVD player to your TV you may use an RCA cable. Or you can read your manuals (for DVD player and TV) for specification of what type of cable is compatible to your system. Or you can look to your DVD player's and TV's input/output plugs directly to see.
P.S. If it helps you pls. rate me.

How to connect my Logitech X-540 speaker system to my dvd player or tv

On the logitech speakers, connect all the colored cables to their coordinating colors on the back of the subwoofer EXCEPT the green one..you need the special Y connector that came with the speakers. (the red, white and green little one). Connect one end of the green cable to the subwoofer, connect the other end to the Y connector. Now you just need to correct the red and white cables from your tv or dvd player into those red and white cables and MWAH!!

Connecting Logitech X-530 speakers to TV flatscreen.

It really depends on what the Tv is capable of, and how you want to strategize the connection, but yes, it can be done.

According to the X-530 User Manual , the speaker system comes with an included video game adapter, for hookup with a console. if your LCD TV has stereo RCA output jacks, you could hook up your speakers to it in that fashion. If not, you may have to buy an adapter that converts whatever you have to RCA.

Another way you could attempt to connect it, is to buy a stereo RCA-to-3.5mm (g9) adapter, and connect to your computer's line in (if it's stereo). Your computer would be doing all the speaker sound positioning, and would have to be left on while you're watching TV, but that would work, as well.

Can the cable ends be converted to fit a DVD?

You can certainly purchase a cable or an adaptor to connect the speakers to almost anything - this however is not the issue - z5300 computer speakers have an impedance of 8 ohms, whereas most home theatre systems will be set up to use speakers with an impedance of 4 Ohms or 6 ohms or 8 ohms - using the wrong type in the wrong configuration is very likely to result in damage. Also the speakers contain their own amplifier, and are designed to accept an input that has not been amplified to speaker levels before - most tv/dvd audio output will be amplified, depending on the model, so will almost certainly destroy your speakers unless you have a low amplification output on your tv/dvd. If you post back with the make and model of your tv and dvd player, hopefully i can find the necessary info to describe how you could make the connection if it is possible. Logitech says; "Logitech speakers are powered speakers and are designed to be used with a home computer. However, it is still possible to connect your speakers to many other devices. You can connect any Logitech speaker to any device that has a pre-amp mini-headphone jack. Home amplifiers will normally contain a standard ¼" headphone jack. You'll need to purchase a ¼" to 1/8th" adapter to connect your Logitech speakers to a home amplifier. Note: Under no circumstances should you connect your Logitech speaker system to an amplified output such as the rear outputs of a home amplifier. Doing so may cause damage to your Logitech speakers as well as your home amplifier." Hope this helps - please post back with details :)
