Starview (the box)

Sorry to keep bothering you charlygal,but need help badly,starview box just not responding,just keeps saying the box on screen,tried replacing batteries,just have not got a clue,bit to old to understand computers,would be very grateful for any assistance,put problem on quite a few times but no response,starting to feel very alone,only joking,hope you can help,or anyone out there who could help in any way,yours johnyb

press ok and the exit 3 times

try this delete the channels all of them but do not do a factory reset manually delete turn the emu off then go back and rescan and turn the emu back on but please do factory reset the box

When i go to load firmware into starview 5 box just keeps telling me .. not an idr file ???? or is it ird sorry ??

You are trying to load the wrong firmware onto the box. You should load "TheboxSuperUSB2_v2.02.2009...BIN"

if you have starview 4 and are missing channels so are many others sadly there is no fix for this(other than buying an older box say starview 2 or 3)and these channels will reappear(sorry to say but it seems the starview guys have left us high and dry)failing all try kryptview(works on all channels , no key changes for 2 years)good luck
