I have searched and checked the entire box and I found non of that info only that it was made in china. maybe ATIP4 and its a 4gb and it says FCCe - thats all I see- I was hoping to get general info if possible on if sync was done backward was there a way to get mp4 player back to original status since all info was transferred to my computer

Try an Android Hard Reset, but this unit appears to be an Amazon / eBay special from China, so the usual answer is to just buy another. Power down. Press and hold volume up and Power button. It is worth a try. Or phone them up in China.

I had similar problem and I opened up and replaced the L-shape (usually) back light that I got from other wreck, where the DVD reading lens was not working but the backlight was working. Usually it is not that fairly easy to check any loose wire, bcos there would not be much loose wires. Try, you may be lucky.
Try disconnecting it from all 12 volt sources(overnight)to reset the code entry procedure. If that dont sort it, let me know and we shall try something else
