Hotpoint Aquarius+ FDW70 Error Codes

Hi there Just wondering if anyone knows what the A10 code is for the Hotpoint Aquarius+ FDW70 Dishwasher. Just before it finishes it's cycle we get this error and the machine stops. All water in the machine seems very hot but the dishes are clean and we can clear the error and wash another load. Sometimes the machine finishes it's load, and sometimes it stops. It's itermittent. I have tried looking on the net for over an hour and cannot find anywhere that shows me what the error codes mean. Can someone advise me what this indicating. Do I have a more serious problem starting to show itself. Any help you can give would be appreciated. Regards K.Mathers

I have the same machine and am getting the A 10 code approx 2 mins into any cycle. The machine is not loading the washing tablet in. The only cycle that works is the rinse only which doesn't require a tablet. Can anyone help??!!?

My Aquarius FDW70 keeps coming up with code A10

Dear sir,

If your dish washer is type EV02 Module,
Error A10: means Faulty fill valve.
Check valve and associated wiring.

If your Dishwasher is
Standard Module + FDW70 + FDW75,
E10 means Heater fault.
Check heater and associated wiring.

i think it helps for solve your problem.
if you have any doubt regarding this issue leave a feedback we will glad to assit you.

How do i find the float switch for a Hotpoing Aquarius FDW70

Open the DW. Look in the front right or left corner of the tub.
You will see a plastic dome.
The float switch is directly underneath the dome.
Remove the toe kick plate and located the float switch from the bottom.
Sometimes they get stuck.
Jiggle it then try the wash cycle.
If that does not work, replace the float switch.

I have a Hotpoint FDW70 dishwasher

Disconect POWER at breaker or fuse panel which should be on a seperate braker. if not find the power sorce and unplug the device. FOR SAFTEY Kneel on a thick doormat if you have to disconect power which has a plug. Wait for a an hour so to let all circuits, timers and motors to cool ... with diswasher in the OFF position, Re-establish POWER. then go ahead and start washer as sugessted by the Manufacturer. Make sure to notice any other codes that may appear. Or any peculiar noises. Most default codes appear if water pressure is too low. Top loaders are natorious for plugged drain lines and can be flushed by the home-ownwr. Make sure to check that water strainer is not cloged or restricted. Hotpoints CODES change from year to year, You can contact a Hotpoint Dealer in your area ... Give him the Make, Model, and any Series numbers to him. MOST will tell you what the CODES ARE FOR THAT MODEL OR EVEN E-MAIL ALL OF THEM TO YOU. Good Luck ... Be Safe Joe Rex
