Hi,
It sounds like there is an issue with the system memory.
Remove both the power adapter and the battery. Turn the laptop over and locate the RAM (memory) cover and remove the holding screw.
Take out the system memory and clean the brass contacts, also clean the slots that the memory sits in.
Re-seat the memory making sure it clips into place nice and tight and replace the RAM cover.
Return power to the laptop and turn it on to see if that has helped.
If it still won't boot up then you may need to purchase new memory for the laptop.

Insert the original Windows CD-ROM into the DVD-drive, and see if the computer will "boot" from that disk. If so, then it could be your 'C:' drive which is having the problem, and thus not "booting" your computer from it.
