Paper jam and i can not find it

Unplug the machine. Pull the machine out. Remove all the paper trays. Open all the doors. Remove the Toner. Get a flashlight and look for a small piece of torn paper from a previous jam that was torn when pulled out. Clean the rubber feed rollers with a damp soapy cloth, rinse and leave to dry. Reassemble the machine. Put in new paper from an unopened pack as paper can get damp this time of year. Reconnect power. Try again.

I will take a wild guess here. You say your paper jam was very bad. Now something started this problem and maybe when you went in to clear you didn't clear everything. Something is still stuck in there . Go back in and look around with a flashlight, I think you will find another paper blockage. Good Luck Friend.

Some shredders have reverse mode
to eject jam. Otherwise its a slow job - Unplug from mains Remove each piece of paper as close to the jaws of the shredder as possible. Then hopefully when plug in and turn on will not find too much resistance and be able to cope with the paper and drag the jam through until clear.

Look for something obstructing the paper path.. where the paper stops look in that area .. a small piece of paper or staple or something is blocking the paper path

when coping or printing? make sure paper is in the tray the way you set it up in the tray settings on the control panel and the driver. paper size, orientation, and media type all make a difference. clean the roller and make sure the lift plate moves freely.

The paper must be hitting something to cause it to jam. Take the drum/toner cart out also the paper tray. Unplug it and hold it upside down and see if something shakes out. Do not do this over carpet. If that does not do try a test page. look at the leading edge for dings and bends. If you find a bent spot on the leading edge thats where the problem is. hi there: we have the same printer and we had the same paper jam problem to correct: this we opened it up as normal and than got a flashlight and looked real closley at it and there was a verry small piece of paper in the side of it folded and caught in it we took a pair of tweezers and removed it and the paperjam was cleared try that ok the smallest piece will give you this error and wont continue untill it is cleared

RealMT I need to know more.  What's the make and model of the copier.

Does it happen both off the copy glass & thru the document feeder or only off the document feeder. If both - check the side guides inside the cassette to make sure they are tight against the paper. If it only happens when using the feeder- the feeder tray needs to be adjusted. There is usually 2 screws under the document tray that when loosened allow for side to side adjustment. Moving the tray should solve the problem if it is only happening when you use the document feeder.
