Won't transfer from the transfer belt to the paper

Minolta 2300w . all the toner will transfer to the transfer belt , however it won't go from the belt to the paper . Also when the paper comes out it stops about 1 inch from the end and I get a paper jammed message . I open and close the doors and it will try and print again . then does the same thing . the printer has 44k of pages it has printed and a ned transfer drum . Can anyone help ? I called Minolta and they said it was a fuser problem . The fuser is hotter than heck and well I just don't think it could be that , Doesn't make sence to me .

SOURCE: toner will transfer to the transfer be

As I understand it from servicing laser printers, the toner is actually drawn statically to the paper from the drum by a charge on the belt. Toner is not supposed to be distributed to the belt. The fuser fuses the toner to the paper after the transfer. Can you access the fuser rollers to see if there is any sign of wear or damage they may be keeping the paper from entering it properly? The toner on the belt is probably excess from the paper not being pulled through and having the toner fused properly.

There is no error message but the pages come out very weak and the more copies you make the lighter they become

Might be one of these things:

If somebody reset a cartridge back to say it is full at 100% full and the toner is actually running out.

Or you might have a problem with your Transfer Belt, my Transfer Belt on magicolor 2300w was printing weak and faded, as if the print was washed out looking, after a bit of research I removed the Transfer Belt and cleaned it with ISOPROPYL ALCOHOL (it's almost 100% alcohol), replaced the same transfer belt unit and it prints fine again.

Konica 2300w jams paper on the fuser unit.

the lubrication for the fuser roller comes from the KM toner. There is usually a cleaning roller in the fuser as well that distributes some oil. Another thing that could cause the problem is non-recommended paper like heat transfer paper, inkjet photo paper or very thick paper. Make sure the fuser sperator teeth are still in place. Lift the two green levers and pull the black cover back. You should see three light brown teeth hovering above the fuser roller. There are some black ones on the guide as well. These are supposed to detatch the paper from the roller incase it sticks.

Replaced Black TOner but still says it is empty

One way you could reset the toner is using the service mode.
Is this printer a 2300w ? If so, open the front door of the printer, turn on and hold down the cancel button for at least 20 seconds, that resets all the counters to factory defaults. The only problem is, that it will set all the toners to 100% and standard capacity, but you can change that in the software. One good thing is, it sets the OPC drum,
Fuser unit, transfer belt, everything to 100%

To change opc drum in konica minolta

To Change OPC DRUM UNIT in KONICA MINOLTA 2300 w

Switch Printer Off

Open Front Door Cover

Remove Waste Toner Box

Lift Transfer Belts Blue Knob until it's placed at 11 o'clock. (it's directly behind the waste toner box)

The OPC DRUM UNIT is directly under the BLUE KNOB

SQUEEZE HANDLE and PULL OUT the OPC UNIT

Be VERY CAREFUL NOT TO SCRATCH THE GREEN COLOURED ROLLER on the OPC DRUM UNIT.

Replace new OPC DRUM and turn BLUE KNOB of TRANSFER BELT back to 7 o'clock position

Replace Waste Toner Box, Close Front Cover and Switch On.

Status Display will show OPC Drum at 100%

(You can also replace the fuse in the OPC DRUM UNIT and save yourself HUNDREDS on a new one)
I posted this on another solve problem previously, worth looking at.

Minolta magicolor 2300

16H means, that the transfer belt does not rotate correctly, open all covers, remove any paper, whats stack inside, remove waste toner box, drum unit then open 2 nipple screws and pull out the transfer pelt, if the belt looks ok, reinstall everything and power on again. if works, then everything is ok, if not, then there is something wrong with TBU or TBU
