If you are running windows 7 or vista.
Go to Start Menu> control panel
if in category view select System and Security
If not go Right to Action Center
From System and Security select Action center
Then from Action center select Change action Center settings on the left hand side Once it opens you need to deselect all the check boxes and then under related settings turn off problem reporting and customer experience ratting by clicking on them and turning them off

Power connection to computer came out during shutdown yesterday. Today, turning on, it will not boot up.

You are going to need a clean boot up disk. You will have to get one mailed to you or you will have to use another computer to download one. This will get you back into a point that you can do a windows restore. This is going to get rid of all programs and start you fresh. I do, however, feel that you disk drive is going out or already shot. You should do a Chkdsk on it. (check disk). This will tell you if it is a hard drive error or not.

S/n ptsakoy02982704b3222700 prob1 there is no sound , prob 2 there are lot of popups on ideal screen

Could be viral infection since you mention there is tons of popup meaning this is from the internet browser right? If not, it could be a failed hardware. Maybe doing a full system recovery using the acer recover disk and reinstalling your computer to factory setting may help.

My netbook got a virus and it blacked out how do i get my computer back

if your computer blacked out and you cant log in i recommend you reformating your computer to get rid of it,, first open your cd drive put in your restore disk and restart your pc with it inside, after that the cd should load and a screen will popup, click on restore to factory and follow the onscreen instructions if the screen with the cd doesnt load first you have to change your restart setting to start with disk first pressing f8 or f11 on startup... goodluck

My screen is black and i cant get rid of this popup

This popup is a sign of a malware infection on your system. You can use ctrl+alt+ del to bring up the task manager, open the processes tab, and locate the pc.exe and agent.exe processes. Select them, right click and end process for each. That should temporarily get rid of the popup. (See link here, and here, but please don't follow the instructions given there to delete files, etc. Just kill the processes and use the following tools.)
Now you'll need to do some cleanup to remove the offending program from your system before you reboot.
Go to this link and follow the first 4 steps of the malware removal guide. Make sure to update MBAM before you scan, and make sure you follow through all 4 steps before restarting your computer. If you want detailed info on how to run the MBAM, as well as a good description of how you got this virus, click here. Then restart your system and see how it runs. I'd advise an indepth scan with your antivirus program to check for further problems, but that should take care of the privacy center rogue.

I hope this information allows you to resolve this issue. If you need further assistance, please post back with a comment to this thread.
If I've managed to answer your question or solve a problem, please take just a moment to rate this post....thanks!

Pop up box appears periodically

try bringing up the menu, and see if there's an option "factory default", and try that. you didn't mention what button on the remote you press to get rid of the popup, or what feature you are turning off to get rid of the popup,
