first the instructions are on the back of the clock on most models. put take the batteries out of both the clcok and temp. transmitter. wait 10 minutes for them to reset. Put the batteries in the transmitter first. then the clock. make sure the clock and transmitter is not near any thing electrical like computers, tv, stereos etc they interfer with the reception of the clock and transmitter. after a few minutes you`ll see the outdoor temp. then set the clock. est is )-5 the chart is online with the instructions, Hope this help.
