You need to replace the burnt out capacitor - the little blue disk on the upper left side of the power circuit board. Here's a link to a replacement that works:
Something is breaking down. Possibly a specific ceramic capacitor on the main power pcb that has been troublesome. Usually there is just a loud pop and the screen goes dead. If the set is less than a year old it is still on parts warranty and the technician could just change circuit boards until the problem is gone.
Too late now but I hope you had it serviced while it was still on parts warranty. With a couple of exceptions, service on those is by major pcb replacement.
