if you do not have an internet package you cant receive picture messages. with at&t you can get pay per use which costs a penny a kilabyte if you access the internet. you dont have to with pictures

the a780 handset only has the o2 network as default.
to have your phone run with another network sim card, you must call your phone company,ie t-mobile,orange,etc and explain to them you need the browser update msg sent to your handset for picture msgs and also ask for the internet browser update msg too.
when you get the browser msgs sent to your phone, open it and press the left green button, i think? it will give the option to update, you press update.

To install new skin ,u need to download skimanv0[1].47 software u find it on web.then download motorola USB driver software from motorola.com. u need to register on motorola.com. then skin manager software could read ur phone skin . do you have the correct message center number for sending receveing picture msg if this as been deleted you will need to contact your network provider and ask them for the number so you can send /get pic messages , what network you on .?
