Furnace I have a coleman furnace. They were bought out by another company. I found out my furnace is on recall. Then I found out that another company bought them out. I have contacted the other company about the recall but I don't get a response. Where do I go now?

SOURCE: I have a coleman central

The wire was probably loose on the terminal. This is very typical. Replace the wire end with a new spade clip. Make sure it pushes on to the terminal real good and tight and you probably won't have another problem.

Our coleman evcon furnace has started clicking over & over again before it starts up, we replaced the thermostat & the same thing happens. We are afraid that this is hard on the furnace & have resorted to...

Suspect that the igniter is causing the clicking (or could be a relay). Suggest having the furnace serviced. There is also a major recall for some models of the Coleman Evcon furnaces.

What color should the flame be on a coleman

hi the gas goes along aburner tube then comes out of the burner then it hits a baffle in side the heat exchanger as long as there is not sooting the flame will look yellow , i would say the best thing would be to contact the makers of the furnace direct they should have a technical department , they might be able to offer more help or have there own people to look at the heater most of these companys have a warrenty on there heaters

I have a Coleman Evcon Mdl DGAT070BDD I am getting a trouble code 4 Flashes, which means Limit is Cycling. I replace both the control board and the limit switch, and still have the same problem.

Your heater is listed under a safety/inspection recall notice, these units have been found to overheat in certain circumstances, which can lead to a failure of the heat exchanger and the furnace. Might be the cause of your problems: http://www.dgatprogram.com/ They should do a free inspection, Good luck

Replacing filter on coleman furnace L8T

The bottom panel should either pop out of lift up. They can get a little stuck so you may need to use a screwdriver or similar tool. As long we''re talking about these units, see this link:
