Xperia ray cannot turn on

I have updated my phone to Android 4.0 and after the update finished my phone was okay. Three day later while I was playing facebook on fb application my phone was error and I can not do anything even turn it off. So I decided to remove the battery and then put it to my phone and press power button but it's not working. There was no "SONY" on the screen and no vibration. I could see only the blink of notification LED.

Sounds like you have damaged the screen some how by removing the battery or even worse the motherboard would you not upgrade your phone Android 4.0 i well out of date. 7.01 is running now

the symptom is usually caused by a breakdown in the power supply circuit. in most modern receivers (transistorized and/or ic), it may also be caused by a breakdown in the horizontal deflection circuits (hor. oscillator, pre-drive, or drive circuits). supply voltages for the tuner, video if,sound if, and vertical output are usually supplied by the horizontal output circuit. but if you doesnt know anything about these stuffs, better bring it to a qualified service tecnhician.

it is a bad fan. it also could be a power supply. Quite often the real problem is dirt clogging up the fan(s) to the point that they need to be replaced. Operation of the set in a dirty environment is not a good idea

the projector bulb has gone out you need to replace it.

i had the same problem, just wiggle the top half of the phone like you wanna break it (but don't break it) The problem is a loose wire between the two phone parts... wiggle it.... just a little bit

Why my Sony Ericsson Xperia Arc S is over heating and is draining the battery

my arc s had the same problem when using the internet for long periods. its never caused any problems but if its running really slowcheck which apps you have running and shut down the ones which arent important, and update your operating system to the patest version. my battery used to last round 8 hrs now well over a day. i make sure i only run the apps im using, keep my display brifhtness low and only connect to the internet when using it, this should improve your battery life no end. it will still get hot if your using it for long periods, its no danger but you can place a playing card inside against the battery which will help reduce the heat you actually feel. hope this helps much love CHRISPY

Try turning off the firewall and the antivirus software. Then back on again. Also try installing Java and see if that will help fix the problem! Let me know if this doesn't work

Hanging of the phone

Have you updated the Android version? If you did then the cache has not been cleared after the updated, making the phone slow. Try this: Turn off the phone, then hold the Volume Up + Volume Down buttons and press and hold the Power Button. The phone will restart with a "soft reset". See if that helps.

Next, install Advanced Task Killer application and regularly "kill" apps when you notice phone becoming slow. Also, under Android settings, go to Developer Options and change "Background process limit" to "4 processes at most".

I can't make or recieve phone calls on my xperia ray

Make sure your Audio Settings are correct. I am not sure if you can turn off your Built-In Speaker and Microphone. Also, make sure you have nothing plugged into the Headphone Jack.

Else, try updating your Phone Software to the latest version, available here:
http://www.sonyericsson.com/update/?lc=en&cc=gb

Select Xperia X10 from the list and download the software update.
You must plug your Xperia X10 into your PC using a USB cable to perform the update.

After upgrading my xperia x10 mini to 2.1 my phone is logged. if i touch the lock on the screen it moves to the right and nothing else happens. Please help!

do this may friend:
1- download a android update 2.1 or 2.2
2- update your phone offline with the update.
if it doesn't work:
flash your phone in a phone servicing shop.

Bd hp210 will not play disc (sharp)

I have the same problem but I did download the updates for both my Sony and Sharp Blu Rays and Avatar played wonderfully but unfortunately a few days later both players stop playing all Blu Rays. Has anyone had the same problem?
