Iv had my Lyra RD 1090 for least 6 years now with no problems at all..Why because i never use the software that came with it..What i do is just plug it into a USB port and it comes up in my File MY COMPUTER as a drive you just open it up and fill it..Or if you have a card reader on you PC just take the card out the the Lyra and put it in the reader then fill the card with music then put the card back into your Ltra then your good to go
The player can only handle cards of a certain size, usually 1gb or less. I would go back over the user's manual and make sure you followed the instructions to the T.
make sure the the music is in mpy format which musicmatch converts it to when loading it on your device also if its in wma formate i think it needs to be 128kbps or higher also try to use your player to transfer the music to the mp3 player dont drop and drag
I had this very same problem. To fix this problem you have to re-flash your RCA MP3 player with the following file: http://download.rca.com/download/RD1022_...
My RCA Model RD 1072a as worked fine since flashing the player with this file.
I also need a manual for an RCA MP3 RD 2052A does anyone have one Thanks Paul
