When i try to turn my tv on, i push the power button either on the tv or on the remote, and nothing happens, other than the little red light blinking, it blinks until you push the power button again then it stops, any help would be appreciated

Thirst thing to try is take the batterys out of the remote and push all of the buttons to get any electric static for say 3 to 5 minutes if that don't work try to see if your remote signal works by using your iphone and take a few photos of the remote beam when pressing ,or the remote in the tv might have gone. Ps happened to me
Most likely it's your memory ic (eprom). Sometimes depending on the make, an authorized service center can flash the eprom back to normal. This is something you can not do but I hope this helps a little.
