WS-55909 Mitsubishi Big Screen TV timer keeps blinking

The timer light keeps blinking. I have tried the reset button, but once it comes back on the light keeps blinking and will not stop to allow the power switch to work. Have tried to unplug the TV for 5 minutes, but the same thing happened when the TV was plugged back in.

We have the same problem at home. I did EVERYTHING the manual said to do & the stupid green light blinks CONSTANTLY!!! I think they should recall this television set, SERIOUSLY! But then again...Mitsubishi isn't really a brand you can trust...electronics or vehicles. >O

The timer light keeps blinking. Tried unplugging for extended period and using the reset button to no avail. Please help.

Thats not a 'timer' light, that is what we call the blinking light of death. you have something internally blown or loose. If you are good with electronics, i would recomend that you check every cable is tight, then every card, the cards are in the tin boxes and you open them up by removing the top and pulling the card up and out then push it all the way back in. if you see any 'char' marks on any of the boards, you can order those boards, the part number are printed on them.

The DM is fine if the led isnt blinking. Your set is going into protective shutdown. Try pressing the menu and the device/input buttons on the set both in together for 5 seconds to see if the set will blink a series of blinks pause then blink another series of blinks. Such as 2 blinks pause then 2 blinks, Then let me know what the blinks were and I will assist you with whats wrong

I have a mitsubishi 48" integrated 1080. The Timer green light keeps blinking. I have no picture. Can this be the fuse? My coworkers say this might be the problem. Can I replace it myself? If so, where is it located?

Mitsubishi ws 55909

Have you tried pressing in the menu and input/device buttons both in together on the front of the set and hold them both in together for 5 seconds to see if the set will blink a two digit error code? Try that and then let me know if it blinked a code. Please reply to this same post when replying. Thanks
