HP Officejet 6310 All in One - small paper being faxed is jammed. How do I unjam the paper?

Lift the scanner lid, then lift the black part of the fax - pull up hard for it to lift. Unjam the paper either still on top or gently lift the inner section and retrieve your jammed paper. Then put everything back together and you're right to go again.

I'm trying to replace black color cartridge, but get an error message: carrier jam How do I unjam it? Already did the unplug- check for paper jam and replug...no luck!

Remove all paper...(inspect closely for paper jammed way inside!)

also remove both ink cartriges, reinsert them one at a time carefully and properly....also double check the number code on the ink

the jam error could be either paper or cartriges confusing the printer. let me know if it works....k

Jammed shredder

First UNPLUG THE MACHINE.
Unscrew four (4) screws, two in front underneath top cover and two in back of top cover. BE careful not to disconnect any wires.
Rotate motor gear or belt in reverse to remove jam. Do not put oil on paper because it expands the paper thickness and only makes it worse.
