You will need to contact Dell Support by phone in order for them to reset your bios password. They will verify ownership of the system and then provide a password for your system.

If you forget the administrator password and don't have a password reset disk or another administrator account, you won't be able to reset the password. If there are no other user accounts on the computer, you won't be able to log on to Windows and will need to re-install Windows.

Unfortunately, there are no default bios passwords that Dell puts into the system. If you need to reset the password please contact Dell Support. They will verify system ownership and then provide you with information on resetting the password.

Go to Start----Control Panel-----User setting -----and select Administrator Account and change name and reset password. To do these steps you need to log in through Administrator Account.

The recovery disk is created by yourself?

If you have a Windows password reset disk, you can easily reset your Windows password with it. If not, you can follow the steps to create one. You just need an available computer linked to the Internet.

Step 1: Download and install Windows Password Breaker with the available computer.

Step 2: Run the program and burn a Windows password reset disk. It could be burned onto a CD/DVD OR USB flash drive.

Step 3: Turn to your locked computer, insert the newly created CD or USB to your drive. Reboot the Computer and reset the Windows password.

Do you mean the BIS Password or the Administrator Password?

If you never set up a password try Admin

The BIOS default password is just blank, and it is not asked.

When you set a bios password, you are asked to enter a value, therefore if bios is asking the password, the password had been changed.

To reset the bios password if you do not know the password you need to access to motherboard and temporarily remove battery for few seconds.
Removing battery will reset bios and delete the password.
Unplug power cord before accessing the motherboard, and try not touching the motherboard with your finger.
Put battery back in place before restarting computer.
