I've got a Motorola V323i cell that I need to unlock but I don't remember the passcode. It's the user key lock password, I tried 000000 as suggested previously but that didn't work. Is there a way to reset this phone by some combination of keys and turning the phone off then on? All help is appreciated.
According to the user guide which you can read at the link below, the factory-set USER lock code is 1234. The document also covers lost codes, saying, "If You Forget a Code, PIN, or Password Note: Your phone's 4-digit unlock code is originally set to 1234, and the 6-digit security code is originally set to 000000. Many service providers reset the unlock code to the last 4 digits of your phone number before you receive your phone. If you forget your unlock code, try entering 1234 or the last 4 digits of your phone number. If that does not work, do the following (and shows a graphic of doing...) Press the OK key, then the keypad keys to enter your security code (or try the defaults I mentioned above) and press SUBMIT to enter the code. Here is the link to the page I was quoting from. Once you've assured yo ur not a robot, look for the BLUE download button just below that. Best wishes! -Mark

you will need to take this to a professional but the problem is either a disconnected cable or somehow the firmware for the keypad got damaged and needs to be put back on the phone.

Firstly your phone is locked ...once it ask u for a subsidy password it means that the phone is locked to the sim card or the provider your trying to use.The message contact provider means that you have tried the incorrect subsidy code over eight times so the phone would automatically show the message contact service provider or contact operator. You need to get the subsidy code for this phone off ebay at www.cellunlock.net or from anyone of the many sellers of motorola codes. The codes cost us$7.99.I can get the code for you for a cost of us $10.00 if u don't have access to ebay or paypal.

SOURCE: what is the 4 digit default lock code or phone lock of motorola L6???...
please e mail me... [email protected] ....what is the default lock code of motorola L6.. im not talking about the 6 digits code or (000000)... example: when you want to lock the multimedia it requires 4 digit only... I already reset my phone.. (master clear and master reset) it requires the 6 digits code (000000).. I was expecting that the 4 digits code will be returned to default.. I tried (1234), (0000) and (1111 to 9999).. all I know is the default 6 digits code (000000) to reset my phone..

Unless you changed the security code on your own it should be the last 4 digits of your cell phone number, and if that fails best bet is to call your carrier and see what they can say or what they can do.
SOURCE: Unlock code on Motorola E815
By default the lock code on CDMA phones is the last 4 digits of the phone number so if you number was
555-555-0909
your lock code will be 0909 unless other wise changed, other than that the only way to get the code is trial and error.
