My charger does not work, I need a new one

All chargers do quit at some time. I find either the charger quits or the batteries get weak . Some up to one year the expensive ones three years. Time to get a new one. Just wondering is this charger made for this drill?

Hi Robert , can you clarify what you mean by a trickle charger ?, any chance of a photo of the charger ?

using a standard gel battery charger , the charger will charge the batteries in question and once fully charged, the charger will trickle charge the batteries.. This is a standard operation and recommended by battery makers...

I have had this problem with quite a few chargers there is a capacitor inside the charger hooked with the positive wires.

chances are that you need to replace the capacitor or just buy a new charger.

capacitors are cheap but you will need also a soldering iron and solder.
videos will help on techniques.

Hello, Is the battery in the camera or in the charger ?? Don't quite understand the question. You wrote "received correct wall charger AC/DC ?" was that a question concerning the new charger ? it sounds like your not quite sure about the charger.

If this is a battery charger then you need a battery to make it trigger before you can get a current out of it ,a lot of new electronic controlled battery chargers will not give a charge if the battery is completely flat so trying to run lights direct from a charger with this sort of electronics is a no go situation.Have come across this quite a lot lately with the new chargers so you are not alone i got well caught out first time i come across this .

Its not due to charging it via usb. Your charger is not giving full amount of charge and thats why its charging with the usb but not with the charger. And, if that is not the case then somehow an internal ic inside your phone is blown and needs a repair.

Please ask for further clarifications.
