I wouldn't!!!! it a 12yr old bmw radiator is a life warranty, as long as no unothorized mech have tampered withit. check wreckers for a secondhand one if ur warranty is void. if not void, take to BMW certified work shop.

I have no heat! i have replaced the thermostat, hose to radiator and heater control valve the heater coil has leaked maybe 2 or 3 drops but nothing major (2001 530i)

If your heater core is leaking that it a good sign that it is your problem. When the heater core gets plugged up it has a tenancy to leak. The water can not flow through freely and causes it to leak.

Anyone know anything about something called "Stop Leak"?

No, this is a dealer trying to get out of replacing an engine. I would talk to a lawyer and have them call the dealership. Stop leak VERY rarely clogs and I have never heard of an engine hurt by today's radiator stop leak. Maybe back when they put black pepper in the radiators to stop leaks that would happen but not now. PLUS BMW's have such great cooling systems that it would never happen.

Check engine light comes on but car runs great 2002 bmw 325i and

The check engine light could be any number of things and the only way to find out is have the codes scanned. The brake light issue is common on E46 3 series. It is an issue were the brown ground wire that goes into the lamp housing melts at the connector causing a loose ground connection. The connector needs to be replaced and also add additional grounding wires to prevent further issues. And for fuel additives either use the cheveron techron, or the bmw fuel additive(the bmw stuff is the exact same thing, so just use which ever is cheaper).
