sounds like you will need to clean laser, there are cleaners you can buy out of walmart for this. Don't know if they work well, I take mine apart and use soft cloth and alcohol then letting dry, works fine for me.
What are the compatible types of DVD's that the Daewoo DVD5800 player is supposed to play? Is DVD-R among the compatible types? Try playing the new recordings on a computer that has a DVD drive, or a friend's computer.

Do anyone have a solution Please
you have to finalize the video first and need to do it otherwise you cant because i have a sony and everytime i finalise it then i play the video finalizing option is in option menu
Got the same problem. The finalised disc plays correct on some dvd players, but not on my pc with Vista. Can't work with the recordings in pinnacle... Have not found a solution yet...
I had the same problem - you are (as I was) turning off the camera too soon after you hit the stop button after recording a scene. Wait until the word "disc access" appears (about 5 seconds after you hit the stop button. This "marks" the end of the scene. I just don't know how to edit that scene out or if it will delete it out. I know after finalizing the disc that scene will pause for a while (10 to 20 seconds even) when you watch it through the DVD player to the TV.
