Unplug the RCA from the computer. Uninstall all RCA software and then reinstall it. Then replug the RCA into the computer.

If that fails, try using the volume + instead of the menu button.

How to recalibrate Golf Buddy Voice 2

Please perform a firmware update on your unit through using GB manager.
If that does not fix the issue, attempt the following steps to perform an emergency reboot:
*NOTE: If you have a WORLD unit, please replace the MENU button with the PROPLAY button to perform this reboot.
1. Please make sure that the unit is turned OFF.
2. Hold down the MENU button, then press the POWER button simultaneously.
3. Once the LCD (screen) powers on, release the POWER button BUT keep the MENU button pressed.
4. Once you see EMERGENCY REBOOT on the screen, release the MENU button and wait about 3-5 minutes for reboot to factory settings.

You may also try the emergency reboot using your computer (most effective way) by following these steps:
1. Make sure the GolfBuddy is powered off.
2. Please connect your USB cable to the computer WITHOUT your unit.
3. Hold down the Menu button.
4. As you are holding the Menu button down, please connect your GolfBuddy to the USB cable.
5. Once you see the EMERGENCY REBOOT screen, please release the Menu button but leave your unit connected to the USB cable until the process completes.

Desktop frozen

It is often caused by a hardware failure. The first thing to do is make sure you do not have any USB memory stick type devices plugged in. Computers don't like them plugged in while starting. If still no good, unplug all of the devices attached except for the monitor. By this I mean the keyboard, mouse, ANY USB DEVICES/ but leave the monitor plugged in. Try starting again. If it boots into windows normally, press the power button on the computer to make it shut down again, then plug each thing in one by one and repeat to see which is holding it up. If it still won't get past the BIOS screen, you have an internal problem in the computer box itself. Hope this helps

Failed to eject before rebooting computer, now USB port says it doesnt recognize the ipod and my ipod is frozen on "Connected-eject before disconnecting"

Actually this issue shouldn't really be that difficult to resolve. :) A simple reset should take care of it being frozen on the connected screen. Below I have posted a step by step on resetting an iPod.
Toggle the Hold switch on and off. (Slide it to Hold, then turn it off again.) Press and hold the Menu and Center (Select) buttons simultaneously until the Apple logo appears, about 6 to 8 seconds. You may need to repeat this step. Tip: If you are having difficulty resetting your iPod, set it on a flat surface. Make sure the finger pressing the Select button is not touching any part of the click wheel. Also make sure that you are pressing the Menu button toward the outside of the click wheel, and not near the center.

As soon as you see the apple icon appear disconnect the iPod from your computer. After the iPod completely loads. reconnect it to make sure it is connecting and loading correctly. If this does not resolve your issue for any reason please do let me know. I have a few other options we could attempt. :) and the feed back is always good. It lets me know if I am actually helping people with they're issue's or not.

Need to reinstall data on RCA Opal M4208GR-B

I did the same thing and reformatted mine too! If you go to www.rcaaudiovideo.com and put in your model number M4208GR and click on the update for the firmware update again then it will put everything back on the MP3 player. I know it sounds nuts but it worked for me and it wont do anymore harm then you have already done ;) Give it a try. Hope it works for you like it did me!
