I have an HP photosmart C 3180 printer all in one. i anmount the printer because it display me that is a problem of cartridge; i unmount the printer, because i think that the problem can be on band conductor of cartridge, but is part is good; i change the old cartridge with a new and in this moment , the printer is in order, but it rest 2 parts of plastics; i don't no where must remount this parts! Please help me and send me some pictures with all parts of the printer or, some official movie with all operations for unount and remount this printer. thank you; best regards!

There may be debris that is blocking the communication between the cartridge and the printer, especially if you are using a remanufactured cartridge. Remove the cartridge and unplug the printer from the power supply. Take a little bit of rubbing alcohol on a cotton swab and wipe off the contacts on the cartridge as well as the contacts inside of the printer. Allow both to dry for a few minutes before plugging the printer back in and re-installing the cartridge. This should clear up any miscommunication between the two.

This error comes due to carriage jam. Turn off the printer and unplug it from wall socket. Now, remove the cartridges and check for any dried up ink residue on cartridges on inside the carriage. Clean the cartridges contacts and carriage using a Q-tip dipped i alcohol. Let the carriage and cartridges dry before you plug in the printer.
Install the cartridges and check. If it still shows error then unplug the power cord coming to the printer without switching it off. Now, remove the rear door of the printer and check for any paper jams over there, remove if any. Wit for at least 15 seconds and plug in the power cord. Now check whether it is working.
